Built-In Width & Length Extension – The sleep deck can expand from 36” to 39” to 42” in width and from 80” to 84” or 88” in length without the need for any additional tools.
Advanced Positions – The HC107 features advanced bed positions including Cardiac Chair Position, Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg.
Auto Contour – The auto contour feature on the HC107 elevates the knee and backrest sections of the bed at the same time to help the patient stay in place when sitting upright. This supports patient comfortability, reduces the need for frequent repositioning and protects the skin from shear injuries.
Dual Controls – The HC107 features a backlit hand pendant and a built-in nurse control panel on the footboard which provides caregivers with the ability to adjust the bed position.
Emergency CPR Release – In emergencies, the head section can be dropped to the flat position so that the caregiver can begin chest compressions.
Pure Vertical Rise – When operating this position, the bed frame rises straight up and down during height adjustment to minimize potential damage to walls or flooring.

Amazon Customer –
If you’re in need of a bed like this you probably don’t need any extra hassle. I can lower mom to the floor for safety or raise her up to save my back. The control locking feature is wonderful to have. I was so happy with this entire purchase. The bed was shipped quickly &incredibly well,no damage & already pretty much assembled. My husband & I were able to handle it but it would have been easier with another guy.

I can’t believe how good this bed is I was unexpectedly surprised to know that it was made of high-quality parts, and the features alone tops, that of many other brands costing higher. Examples are built in LED lighting on both sides of the bed, the remote being illuminated and offers adjustments to height of entire bed, head, knee, and feet. What is surprising there is a cardiac mode where everything lays flat automatically without having to press separate buttons.

I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and have been sleeping in my lift chair for about two years. I finally relented had got this long term care bed. I love the different features on it and how high and low it goes.
