The Med-Mizer Retract-F Fully Electric Hospital RetractaBed Expandable Width Bed Set is a retractable long-term care bed frame that is designed for home care, long term care and post acute care. The strong box tubular frame construction is able to support up to 500 lbs. The RetractaBed adjusts to two different height positions and has multiple seating positions for patient comfort. With rotating wheels, it is easy to move the Retract-F bed frame anywhere that it is needed and has a stand up feature for easy storage when not in use. This bed also features a Backlit Pendant, Staff Lockout Control, and Wall Bumpers.
The Fully Electric Hospital Bed RetractaBed® frame was designed to help reduce resident falls and increase staff productivity for long term care – all packaged in a space saving design. With the unique retracting Fully Electric Hospital Bed low bed frame we provide residents a safe manner to access their personal items. The bed retracts towards the head section and pulls the resident closer to the bed side cabinet. This function also reduces the foot print in the room, leaving more space for additional medical equipment (patient lift, wheelchair, walker, etc).

Your homecare bed is eligible for up to three years of in-home service. Should your bed ever need repair, simply call HomeCare Hospital Beds and we will dispatch an authorized service technician to your home to diagnose and repair your bed absolutely free of charge.

This is an AMAZING bed! I needed to get a hospital bed for my mom but I didn’t have any idea about what kind to get. I spoke with Josh at Home Care Hospital Beds and he recommended this one. He asked me about what my mom needed and he recommended this one. He was right – it is absolutely perfect for her!
The Retractabed feature is super cool – the bed frame retracts when the head of the bed is raised. Mom can easily reach items on her nightstand when she sits up and there is more room at the foot of the bed to move her wheelchair around. Her old hospital bed frame moved forward when she sat up so her nightstand was behind her and out of reach. The bed frame expands to 42″ width so now there is lots of room for my mom and her cat to share the bed. The extra width also gives mom more room to roll over onto her side when we rub her back.
Mom’s old bed was semi-electric and we could not adjust the bed frame height. We killed our backs bending over to rub her back and her feet. It was never at the right height for her to get in and out of bed. It was too low when she stood up from the side of the bed and too high when she sat down. Now we can adjust the bed height to exactly where we need it. We put it up high when we are giving back rubs, a little lower for her to get out of bed, and lowest for her to get back into bed.
I am so thankful to Josh for helping mom get this bed! It has made all the difference for her and for us!
